ART ON THE RIO - A MARKETPLACE FOR COMMUNITY’S SAKE

Have you heard of Art on the Rio? Chances are you haven’t, until you just read the previous line that is… And if you have - that’s awesome! We are aiming for folks to have it be a household name as we approach 2022, in ABQ.

Albuquerque is a place driven and fueled by art and artists - creation and creativity. Agree? Then you have to become part of this community! Art on the Rio is a Ghost Gallery and Art Dealership specializing in connecting artists with buyers and vice versa. We are creating a marketplace while simultaneously cultivating the community necessary to sustain it - around it.

We work in and deal with the sale of original works only - on behalf of more than three dozen New Mexican artists. We are currently focused on New Mexico, and headquartered in Albuquerque, however we do plan on extending our reach throughout the Southwest as we grow.

We are growing in a never before seen sort of way here in the Duke City. We don’t have a physical gallery space - instead, the works you see online are all out and about on the walls of locally owned businesses of all kinds. Tractor Brewing, Marble Brewery, The Brew, Villa Myriam, and more - coffee shops, breweries, businesses large and small are all getting involved. Do you own a local business? We will be bringing you LIVE painters at our Brick and Mortar Partner locations in the new year; but that’s not the special part about that piece of things - the kicker, they’ll be getting paid to paint!
