Lukas “Brute” Lowery-Ross is a native New Mexican who’s art career began during the Covid Pandemic. By combining his two passions of art and woodworking he has created a medium for his bold pieces to be showcased. He takes traditional New Mexican imagery, but conveys it with absurdist techniques. Using pastel, acrylic, oils, inks, charcoal, and even wood burning his work takes something old and familiar and turns it into something unique and exciting.
