Ruben Navarro Jr, I go by Jay aka Retro is from El Paso, TX. He has lived in New Mexico for the last 28 years of his life. He started painting a little over two years ago. Prior to painting he made 8 bit art of various video game designs. From that he began to make necklaces of similar fashion. He has collaborated with the local Paleteria “Paleta Bar” and made necklaces for them! Last year he had the opportunity to collaborate with WWE. He created five different and unique paintings that were auctioned off. All five pieces raised over $1000.00 to benefit Connors Cure. He hopes to continue to create unique, one of a kind paintings, that will fill somebody’s wall.
