My name is Anita Marie Chavez. I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My Chicana heritage and culture is a proud banner kept close to my heart.

I am a self taught multi-styled visual artist. I explore various techniques and combine a broad range of mixed media, modern abstract and scrape painting. I love using bold, bright colors on larger than life canvas.
